...It's time to impose some changes...

I have been toying with this idea for quite some time now and had attempted to follow through but quite evidently, i failed myself. 

You see, I am a loyal supporter and a huge fan of Pinterest. Those whom i hold close to my heart would know of my excessive mild obsession with this creative and brilliant website. However, i have come to realize (whether upon self reflection or been chided on) that i have been channeling my attention to very specific interests of mine: Fashion and Make up. 

Whilst having such interests aren't all such a bad thing (can't imagine how it can be bad), it has come to my attention that i need to broaden my knowledge pool. Outside of schooling life, i realized that i have stopped reading. There are no more reading materials for me to pour myself over and complain about. I have long ditched the newspaper reading...for some strange reason. Or maybe not so strange.. i think the childish political "debates" as they call it, were too much a waste of time to me. But I am a citizen of this country. Truth be told, I should be following all these news to keep abreast with the happenings of my own country. Sigh...okay.. okay. I will start reading the newspapers again...

But we digress. As i was saying before my rumblings, I have to expand my knowledge pool. And also to improve on my language. :( 

So, i came up with this ingenious idea: to make a theme for every day of the week for me to learn up on a specific topic! The theme is basically my template, a topic for me to focus on and increase my knowledge on the particular subject. For instance, for Fridays, I have decided to name it Feminine Fridays for all things female related - be it fashion, make up, reading, etc., which will all be my focus for the day. 

It isn't finalised, complete nor perfect. But allow me to share my list:

• Monday: 
• New Finds/ Random Monday 
• for anything interesting or new or fresh to add to the blog
• Tuesday: 
• Technology Tuesday 
• for all things gadgety or geeky, it will be covered on this day
• Wednesday: 
• Healthy Wednesday 
• effects of overdose of vitamin C, origin of penicillin, etc. all health related issues will be discussed
• Thursday: 
• Tummy Tickling Thursday 
• specifically marked for this day because My Neighbours is on. LOVE. 
• Friday: 
• Feminine Friday 
•  all things female related: fashion, make up, accessories, shoes..a girl just can't have enough!
• Saturday: 
• Crafty Saturday 
• glitter pen holder using old Pesto jars, redesign hangers, etc...you get the drift
• Sunday: 
• Nerdy Sunday 
• for me to sit back, relax and read up on a book. 2 books a month. 

Like i mentioned, i had been toying with this idea for awhile. One of the reasons why i had failed to act on it was that it was not recorded in any way. When i realized that i had to start updating my blog and that i had to use my camera more often...VOILA! A bell went off in my head and the idea was born: 

To document each day of my activities or readings to share it here. On my humble blog. :) 

Of course, if there are any specific events that are going on that I would like to upload, i would still include it here. With the theme for each day, it just helps me stay focused and organized in some way. 

Given that today is New Finds/Random Monday, this shall be my first random/new finds or reports for the day! :D
