Welcome 2012~
Happy New Year! *throws confetti, pops the champagne and cheers loudly* :D:D:D
Like an annual ritual before the start of each year, reusable papers are often found strewn across my table; drafts upon drafts of new year resolutions written on every writable surface.
This year, it's different.
For starters, i am not at home. First time i have ever spent my new year's away from home. Not exactly sure how to feel. I am homesick. No doubt about that. Yet, it is liberating. Here i am, having taken my first trip (ON MY OWN) to a foreign land and celebrating new year's with friends and Chu Ian. :) It feels good.
I will note that this is backlogged.
My apologies. I have not been diligent in updating. :P
Only this time, my excuse, i believe, is valid since i am spending most of my time exploring this wonderful country. :)
Until now, i have yet to really get back down to earth and reevaluate my life. But I can already foresee that this year would be the year i will finally learn to grow up. The year i would get to know myself more. The year i would determine my life goals. The year i would learn to be independent.
I will not lie that i am scared. I will admit that i am filled with anticipation, almost eager yet afraid of what lays before me.
I will be taught of strength, that much i am also certain.
So for what is laid out for me, i shall face it with optimism and confidence. :)
To all my faithful readers, here is to you, a bright, cheery and brand new new year ahead! May this new year bring all of you continuous great health, happiness, love and prosperity. :)
