Shu Shan joining the Forever 21 Club ;)
Backlogged.
One of my first time organising such an extensive party for a friend. :D I must say, i enjoyed it very, very much. :)
From going out behind her back to purchase a present on behalf of her boyfriend; to huddling together to plan details; and parking ourselves at a friend's house to make the board and greeting cards till 4-5am. If i had to sum up my experience in one word: FUN, for the lack of a better word to describe, would definitely be it. :D
All in all, plans were split in two separate parts.
Part 1: On her Birthday
Briefly, Shu Shan's birthday fell, unfortunately, on a day during our exam period. Even i had a paper on that day. Chien had already warned her that we would not be able to celebrate anything with her seeing as we would be kinda too stressed to even think of doing anything. With that thought in mind, she was (i would imagine) terribly down and disappointed that her 21st would go by unnoticed and non-celebratory.
That was when we came by (7 of us, to be exact) to surprise her. :D
Boy. Oh boy. Was she surprised. xD She was already in her jammies ready for bed and there we were, crouching like thieves outside her house jumping from the bushes with brightly lit candles on ice cream cake. Hehe. That too, was extremely fun. Exhilarating. I think we had passersby looking at us suspiciously. xD
To see her stunned look made it all worth it. :D
Poor girl actually bought herself a slice of cake to celebrate on her own! xD
Anyhow, here is a pic (courtesy of Brian) of us:
Part 2: Surprise Dinner
I ought to thank my parents for bringing me to try at the coffee house or i (and the rest as well) would miss out on such a great place to host parties. :D
Had it at Coffee Chemistry at First Subang. :D
Very charming and cozy place. I took an instant liking towards the place and told myself i would definitely bring dear to try it too. :D Food is yummy and price is around Secret Recipe's price. A little above average. But worth it given the portion is rather generous. :)
I brought along my bro's DSLR to get a feel of taking pictures. :) It was fun! I never thought that taking pictures was quite as fulfilling as this! :D Unfortunately, my skills and camera still needs lots of practice and upgrading. :P
Here are some pictures:
:) It was a great time catching up, enjoying great company and good food. :)
To Shu Shan, all the best and may you continue to achieve greater heights in everything you do. :)
Happy Birthday once again! ;)
